Pleasant View Neighborhood Outreach. Monday, July 5, 2010. On May 24th many members of our group showed up to the Upland city council meeting to introduce our group and our concerns to the officials. The two main concerns that were addressed were the need for a crosswalk on the bike path at Campus, and a plea for the city to step in and get involved with the demolition of the burned down home at 936 Washington Blvd. If you would like to do something to support the group's campaign. The following is a list of the most hazardous sidewalks in the Pleasant View Historical District. In all cases the hazard is a lifted sidewalk, usually caused by a tree root. The hazard is such that it might cause a person to trip, a wheelchair to stop. or a powered chair to flip causing an injury and possibly resulting in a lawsuit against the city of Upland.
