Pharmacy schools do not require applicants to choose a particular major to pursue pharmacy though a strong background in chemistry and biology is preferred. The most important thing is to complete all pharmacy prerequisites with passing grades. Visit pharmacy schools of interest. Sign up for PCAT if planning to apply to schools outside of California. Look out for applications in the summer. Start applying for pharmacy school via PharmCAS (online application system). Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT).
