My journey from fat to fit. Skip to primary content. A little bit about me. Recipe: Leek Yogurt Dip! September 10, 2012. This past Saturday, I was out and about with my mom. It had been a while since we’d gotten time for just the two of us to hang out. We started by walking a 5k for charity (okay, we walked *most* of it! And then we went to see a movie (Odd Life of Timothy Green – I was unimpressed). This meant Rick was in charge of going to get our basket. We almost wound up basketless! Pepper, to taste.

Julian was taking his time getting all the way into this world, and I spend a little more than a day at hospital waiting for labor to start, wondering how my baby chickens were doing. In the wee hours of the morning on July 1st, he was finally born! Vincent and I were so excited! These were our first hand raised yellow fuzzy cute chicks! And then we got our first eggs!
