Just Another Manic Mama: April 2009
http://manic-mama.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 11, 2009. Emergency, Emergency - Red Alert! My daughter is frequently dramatic, imaginative and expressive. (I'm pretty sure she's a 7 with an 8 wing on the Enneagram, if that means anything to you, which it probably doesn't.) She frequently emits bloodcurdling screams and frantic cries for help when, in fact, she is pretending to be trapped in a dragon's lair that she's created out of couch cushions. And "The towels are not dirty till they stand up on their own! Red alert, red alert!

Just Another Manic Mama: January 2010
http://manic-mama.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 29, 2010. Adorable Apron (under 90 minutes! My sister-in-law asked me if I could make her an apron for work. She said it needed to have pockets and could be funky, the rest was up to me. I took a look at a pattern in One-Yard Wonders. And adapted it to make the apron reversible. Here's what I came up with:. I think I have enough fabric to make another and I might just whip one up for myself! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. If you want to see some of my recent sewing ...

Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Hershey Park - 1, Buckey - 0. Luckily, I am pretty solid in a crisis, so I checked it closely and the result of Buckey's mishap with the sun chair was the complete dislodge of the middle fingernail of his right hand. I don't mean most of was torn away. I don't mean it had bent back and loosened from his nail bed. I mean the entire fingernail was torn out from the root. Here's the First Aid Station we visited. This photo was taken AFTER the incident. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Just Another Manic Mama: November 2009
http://manic-mama.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 15, 2009. Well, it's that time of year again. And if you think I'm referring to Christmas carols, breathtaking snow scenes and joyful family gatherings, then we've never met! No, I'm referring to the constant complaints from certain children that 'there's nothing to do,' 'everthing here is boring,' and 'I wish I had different parents.' Or maybe that's just me. Any way, here's how to make some cute napkin rings to grace your Thanksgiving table. You will need:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
