Martes, 17 de abril de 2012. Torta de manzanas y dulce de leche / Dulce de leche apple cake. La primera vez que comí ésta torta, fue en la casa de mi amiga Amy McKissick. Ella la sirvió caliente, recién salida del horno y era para chuparse los dedos. La receta original pide caramelos de leche, pero como en Paraguay abunda el dulce de leche y es mucho más rápido que estar desenvolviendo caramelos, usamos eso en ésta receta. Un postre super rico para éste invierno. 1 paquete de torta de vainilla de 480 gr.

Muchos de ellos van a carnear su chancho, asarlo en el tatakuá (horno de ladrillo), hacer chicharrón con la piel, morcilla con las partes que sobraron y algo que es muy común, hornear chipa. Viernes, 30 de mayo de 2014. Coffecake de canela / Cinnamon swirl coffeecake. He estado haciendo esta receta por unos 8 años y con algunas modificaciones también. He usado margarina, mantequilla o aceite en la masa, todos han salido ricos, pero mi favorito es el que tiene mantequilla. Con cada grasa, la miga sale un poco diferente, pero el sabor queda el mismo. Muy rico! Espero que les guste y se animen a experimentar con los diferentes sabores.
