Brief accounts gleaned from my daily pursuits. There's nothing like 3 inches of snow (on top of the 6-12" already there) to make things interesting when trying to burn brush piles! Obviously we didn't have too much trouble getting our fires started though, and keeping warm in the 35-degree air was not a problem. I tried new things on a new body of water, had a rustic pond all to myself, used my "anchor" for the first time, jigged up live bait on site (i.e. free bait), and caught my biggest bass ever! I heard three huge booms, the first two actually shaking the building. I have no idea if anyone was hurt but Con Ed and the fire dept were there quickly and are still there now.
