Get away from him! I started moving again, and just ran on my heels so I wouldn't use my calf. My left leg took all of the weight, and I felt it in my left hip flexor and my left quad started burning from being the driving force the rest of the way. The crowd was incredible! People could see the pain on my face and my peculiar step, and they'd say, "C'mon Ross, pull through buddy. You can do it man." (my name was printed on my bib). They were so supportive!
