Monday, January 21, 2013. My last day in the USA was spent checking out Central Park in New York, and shopping at Walmart in New Jersey. It's a lot of travel time between New Jersey and New York! Would love to have started 2013 off in Central Park like I did in 2012. The things I love most about Central Park are the different characters of people you see there, people just doing their thing, going about their lives. For those of you that watch 'Gossip Girl', this is the place Chuck and Blair got married.

Saturday, March 16, 2013. The fantastic one-man band that is. Performed at Kirstenbosch Gardens as part of their Old Mutual Summer Sunset Concerts series this passed Sunday. The show was opened up by Holiday Murray. A BIG turn out for the Loop man. So awesome! If you haven't seen Jeremy perform before, you should. He creates music on the spot using that loop pedal, adding sounds from instruments, his own (beat boxing) voice, and the crowd to build onto a song as he goes. The crowd shot that Jem took.

Monday, February 11, 2013. I may not be the biggest of fans, but whenever I think about Red Hot Chili Peppers. I immediately go straight back to High School, where my friends and I would randomly break out into a chorus of 'Dani California' and other songs from Stadium Arcadium. I was happy to hear that Die Antwoord. Were going to open for them, because as strange as they are, they are equally entertaining (and hilarious too if you listen to their lyrics). Then time for the headlining act!

I sat chatting late one night with my bff Najwah. About our former company (Amazon) that we both worked at for about a year, and we both had the same feeling towards it:.
