Kvarner Squid and Cuttlefish Salad. Squid and Cuttlefish Salad, Kvarner style. 1/2 finely chopped onion. 3 cloves finely minced garlic. 1 tblsp chopped parsley. 4 tblsp olive oil. Salt and Pepper to taste. Clean the squid and cuttlefish and boil until tender. Remove and let cool. Peel and boil the potatoes until done. Let cool and cut into 1/4 pieces. Mix the parsley, garlic and onion. Combine the potatoes, squid, cuttlefish and parsley mixture. Add olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and mix well.

2 tblsp vegetable oil. 2 eggs, lightly beaten. 1/4 cup lukewarm water. Make a well in the centre of the flour and add the remaining ingredients. Istrian Bean soup (Jota) recipe. 250g potatoes, cubed. 100g bacon, chopped. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tblsp fresh finely chopped parsley. Salt and pepper to taste. Soak the beans overnight then put in a large pot of cold water and bring to a boil. Cook for about 1/2 hour. Cook the sauerkraut with the dried spareribs in a large pot. While the beans are still slightly hard, add to the sauerkraut and spareribs along with the cooking water. Add the bay leaf, bacon, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper.
