WoollySocks: March 2011
http://woollysocks.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Knitting, music, food, photography. Friday, 18 March 2011. All these news, all these fears. I don't know if all these news and uncertaintees in the world is making me mora fatalistic or if it's information overload. And in all of this, we, thousands of miles away from the huge tragedy of an earthquake, a tsunami, an armed revolt have the unjuste need to be reassured and informed that our sheltered lives aren't affected. By ignoring the fact completely, by thinking we have anything to do with our fate.

http://yorkshireteaparty.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
The tale of one Yorkshireman's attempt to survive in the colonies. Tuesday, December 19, 2006. First Ade, then Frisco, then home, then back. And with that I promise, dear Tea Partyers, not to disappear again.

The tale of one Yorkshireman's attempt to survive in the colonies. Wednesday, January 31, 2007. Call it cosmic balance, call it karma, or call it Sod's Law. Whatever the nomenclature, this last week has been characterised by two events, one Good and one Bad. Do you want the Good news first, or the Bad? I'll start with the Bad. This was, of course, the arrival of Em. Ha ha, only joking, this was the Good. Or was it? How New Man am I, eh? 4 Adverts on TV: Britons, think twice before you knock the BBC. ...

Yorkshire Tea Party: August 2006
http://yorkshireteaparty.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
The tale of one Yorkshireman's attempt to survive in the colonies. Thursday, August 31, 2006. Well, it was very strange to be waving goodbye to loved-ones I knew I wouldn't be seeing again for a good few months, and it was hard to join the security queue without a lump in the throat. Make them scream solidly for SIX AND A HALF HOURS! Like inform them that if they don't shut their over-active traps they're going to be put out of the window, that sort of thing. I'm sure I'll make a great parent one day.
