http://tokyoexpatlife.blogspot.com/2008/01/i-get-by-with-little-help-from-my.html
A former conversation about travelling on commuter trains in Tokyo. Thursday, 17 January 2008. I get by with a little help from my friends. Just a quick note to to thank Contamination for the new EC logo! My blog now looks like part of the JDonuts team! I really like your new entrecard logo look. 18 January 2008 at 05:45. I'm very glad that you like it. If you REALLY want to become a part of the jdonuts network, I'll give you a subdomain. But then you'd be at my whim, mwahahaha! 18 January 2008 at 07:58.

Tokyo expat life: morning masacre
http://tokyoexpatlife.blogspot.com/2008/01/morning-masacre.html
A former conversation about travelling on commuter trains in Tokyo. Monday, 21 January 2008. Anyway, it was an unusually eventful start to the day. Of course the station was crowded with the usual commuters from the Chuo Line, so there were plenty of spectators. It just meant that the sidewalk was a little less crowded than usual for the final part of my commute. Ps Get the low down on the Tokyo crow story here. With some video) and here. Labels: Chuo Line E233. 22 January 2008 at 00:37. Now I know why s...

A Jap-happen-in' Experience: November 2007
http://japhappening.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 29, 2007. On a much lighter note today, I went through a couple of my old photos albums, and came upon a set taken in Sapporo (capital of Hokkaido) which brought back some fond memories (again). So bear with me again while I take another trip down memory lane. As a avid drinker of beer, my friends and I decided to go visit the Sapporo Beer Garden. This story actually has two points. The first is that my friend and I didn't actually finish 10 beers. When we saw that they served. Japan's...

A Jap-happen-in' Experience: Delayed Entry
http://japhappening.blogspot.com/2007/11/delayed-entry.html
Monday, November 19, 2007. Reading many articles and blogs about this issue, including http:/ reentryjapan.blogspot.com. I want to try and put everything into perspective. Wow that was short. Now for the bad stuff. We have heard all the arguments regarding human rights and privacy, emphasis on the increasing discrimination of foreigners in Japan, and potential loss of business and tourism just to name a few. So the real question I must ask is, is this extra security layer worth it?

Tokyo expat life: gawking and sleeping on trains
http://tokyoexpatlife.blogspot.com/2008/01/gawking-and-sleeping-on-trains.html
A former conversation about travelling on commuter trains in Tokyo. Thursday, 17 January 2008. Gawking and sleeping on trains. Out I get to see these kind of people every day. Whenever I find someone looking too long I make sure I lean forward and stare right into their eyes, they shortly get the message and I never catch them looking at me for the rest of the trip. Talking about height, gotta watch those JR doors! A little too low for me. 17 January 2008 at 18:16. 17 January 2008 at 19:17. Http:/ www...

Tokyo expat life: one benefit of snow in Tokyo
http://tokyoexpatlife.blogspot.com/2008/01/one-benefit-of-snow-in-tokyo.html
A former conversation about travelling on commuter trains in Tokyo. Tuesday, 22 January 2008. One benefit of snow in Tokyo. It is snowing in Tokyo today. The snow flakes are quite heavy I could hear the big ones landing on my umbrella. When I got off the Chuo. I will be carrying my umbrella with me in future. But I concur, it's better to dodge umbrellas than smoke. 23 January 2008 at 07:18. I love the heavy snow. Is it packable to make snowballs? 24 January 2008 at 12:38. My kids enjoyed doing so!
