Chris Ostos: Re:solutions
http://chrisostos.blogspot.com/2011/01/resolutions.html
Monday, January 3, 2011. Instead of resolution, I like re:solution. Dictionary.com defines the word solution. As this: the act or process of solving a problem. Now I like that better than resolution and I'm left with the question, what problems in my life will I be trying to solve this year? I currently recognize several problems that I've failed to solve in my life. And I want that to be the solution to my current problem. What solutions will you come up with to fix those problems? When you look at spor...

This could be a position in school, a spot on a particular sports team, a job, club officer, anything related to being chosen or not. How did it make you feel? Chris Ostos: New Year Update
http://chrisostos.blogspot.com/2011/01/new-year-update.html
Sunday, January 9, 2011. Just a little over a week into the New Year and it's already been more than exciting! I had a chance to win it at the buzzer with an alley-oop pass given to me from a teammate but I missed the layup. Two hard losses in one day to start the new year. But that's alright. It's a humbling experience. Can't win them all and at least I'm getting the exercise in. In spite of that, it was a great overall weekend! By David Kinnaman and Gabe Lyons.). And yes, they were more than right!

The Cress Chronicle: June 2008

Monday, June 23, 2008. Only God in Heaven Can Make a Butterfly. Emmy came home from day care last week singing this song, and since this is the first thing I've been able to get her to sing upon request in FOREVER, I thought I'd better capture it on video for posterity. In case you can't understand the words, they're as follows:. Little caterpillar, he climbed up in a tree. He wiggled long, he wiggled short, he wiggled right at me. I put him in a little box, "Don't go away" I said. Links to this post.

Sunday, January 13, 2008. As we were discussing how to celebrate Emmy's third birthday, my mother, who had kindly offered ot host the party, suggested a birthday tea. Having considered the bewildering array of party themes built solely around an animated Disney character or TV show and wanting something less expensive and more unique, we thought a tea party would fit the bill admirably. My mom and I had gleefully prepared a beautiful toddler feast - heart-shaped peanut butter and honey (Emmy's favorite) ...

The Cress Chronicle: March 2008
http://cresschronicle.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 30, 2008. Happy Birthday, Dear Daddy. After we were seated, Peter opened his present from Emmy and Mommy - a new t-shirt emblazoned with a cute pic of Emmy and the text "Some bunny. Is that gag-me cutesy or what? Although our alfresco dining experience was a trifle chilly, the stimulating company and terrific mediterranean cuisine more than made up for the windchill factor. Accompaniment to my mom's to-die-for banana cream pie. Links to this post. Sunday, March 23, 2008. Links to this post.

Purr balls and fanged things. Who runs this madhouse. Living Without A Map. A journey of faith. 05:52 am March 20th, 2007. Try this: open a window before you go to bed. Perhaps two. If it is cold, open them only a little. If it is warm open the one closest to you a bit more. Then see how you sleep. I find that I wake after six hours refreshed and ready for the day regardless of what hour it is in the morning. Today it was 4:00 am because I went to bed at 10:00 pm. Or Set a waypoint. Where I am is unclear.
