This semester I hope to explore different mediums and materials through creativity in my art. Thursday, March 14, 2013. Sweet Home Alabama" is a piece that named after the song that I am learning to play on the guitar. I took notes from the song to create the background. This style of art is originally by Lewandowski. Nostalgia" is a piece of art created to illustrate the remembrance of Summer. I used clocks to symbolize that the season feels timeless. The image transfers make the theme of summer a little more obvious. The word "Aloha" means welcome and farewell. The other images represent the season giving it a tropical feel. Lick and Lather" by Janine Antoni is by far the most unique piece of artwork I've ever seen. The sculpture on the left is "Lick." It is made of chocolate.
