Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Well, it has been forever since i have posted a recipe.i honestly have been bad about cooking "real" food at home, especially those that are *blog worthy*.but now things have settled down a bit around here and the beautiful weather is getting me back into the mood to cook good.oh yeah! City Hall Diner's Shrimp and Grits. This scrumptous recipe was posted in our local newspaper.and i am so glad it was.wonderful! It was my first attempt and shrimp and grits.turned out great!

Monday, September 27, 2010. More captain of the week. Fun task of captain of the week is to do a scrapbook page. Created a scrapbook page in my life.there is a real good reason i never jumped on that bandwagon her name is OCD! Detail oriented, everything has to be just so, to scrapbook.but all that aside, i put my big girl panties on a dealt with this *task* as best i could. There were some really top notch. But at least it gave me some courage. I don't think it turned out. For my first attempt at least!

Thursday, December 30, 2010. And the BEST part of the entire holiday was when sis was giving us our christmas morning hugs she exclaimed, so excited, Happy Birthday Jesus! Melt my . heart. And when it is too cold outside to try out the new bike? Just ride it around the house :). Sis and her new love. She even took it to the bathroom with her! Our traditional christmas breakfast. Monkey bread and hot chocolate (coffee for me! Christmas at Grams with all the Aunts, Uncles and Cousins! He's a jolly ol' elf.

Monday, May 31, 2010. Toes in the sand. This weekend brett and i got away. And this is the only picture i took, from my phone even.and honestly, it was the only one i needed.it summed up the trip beautifully.sun, sand, and relaxing! Ahhh, so nice! This time at mcwane center! Trying to out do himself from thursday, friday daddy daycare headed to mcwane.and he took the camera again! Gotta love it :). Sunday, August 09, 2015. Birthday party at the fire station. We celebrated HR's birthday at our local fire station. I scheduled a tour with the fire department and then afterwards our friends came to our house for treats. The kids got to spray water with the hose, tour the station, climb on the fire truck and of course, everyone got fire hats. LE made the cupcakes, I baked firetruck cookies and Mimi iced the cookies. It was a great day to celebrate our little fire chief, or as he says, weo-weo num-nums.
