http://wwwanniesponderings.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 13, 2010. A couple of projects I have finished. I am not the best photographer or even scanner person, so I am not really happy with how these are showing, but I wanted to share with you a couple of things I have done recently using Eat Cake Graphic stamps. This first piece, the windows, stairs, word bubble and the little girl are all ECG stamps. I drew in the house, the door and the sidewalk. Colored with Copics. This shows what the pull out looks like. Thanks for stopping by. Sometim...

Annie's Ponderings: July 2011
http://wwwanniesponderings.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 30, 2011. A quick update. Maggie is on the mend. We are slowly weaning her off the meds and no shaking. A couple more weeks and she will be back to her normal peppy puppy self. Saturday, July 16, 2011. It has been a tough week for my sweet little Westie. We noticed that she was shaking. The best I can convey what was happening is to liken it to adult onset of Parkinson, where they have small tremors continually. I got on the Internet. Of course and started researching Westie. Babsarella's ...

my artful nest: artist trading cards
http://myartfulnest.blogspot.com/2015/05/artist-trading-cards.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Artist Trading Cards or ATC's are a fun way to. Extend a collage unit, but on a smaller scale. Students can choose to create a collage using magazines images and a few accessories as shown above, or create ATC's that are color themed as shown below. I included some samples from my Altered Artists Group. For inspiration, also. Below are student works. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. More Citra Solv fun. my artful nest: The art of music
http://myartfulnest.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-art-of-music.html
Wednesday, May 6, 2015. The art of music. My school hosted a district music contest this spring. Art and Music are in the same hallway at my school. Therefore, I decided to have the students who were finished early with other projects create some music related art to then display during the contest. Some students used pastels. This one is watercolor pencil. Black and White with Sharpie. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. More Citra Solv fun. The art of music. Art Stuff I Desire.

my artful nest: August 2014
http://myartfulnest.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 28, 2014. I had a blast at this year's Art Unplugged at Mrs. O'Leary's in Wichita, KS. Catching up with old friends, making new ones, creating lots of art, being silly, and learning a lot of new techniques are just some of the antics that take place each year at this awesome week long event! Here are three of the Santos dolls that were created during this week. Joni, Debby, and Mary did a great job, don't you think? A few of my projects from the week. This is one of Joni's favorite tile ...

my artful nest: Robots in Relief
http://myartfulnest.blogspot.com/2015/05/robots-in-relief.html
Wednesday, May 6, 2015. These are fun end of the year hand on projects. They are robots created with cardboard layers and textures, painted in metallics, and then embellished with various hardware. The idea was found on Artsonia. From Alum Creek Elementary School in Lewis Center, Ohio. Even though it was originally a lower elementary project, many of my 7th graders loved it! my artful nest: March 2014
http://myartfulnest.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 21, 2014. Here are a few pages from my planner this year. Once again, I had fun making a usually "boring must have" into an awesome place to collage, color, draw and journal! You can see more artfully collaged. Monday, March 10, 2014. In my continuous effort to get Middle School students to bring a pencil to art class, I created yet another bulletin board outside my classroom door to try to motivate! I had fun creating these two construction paper. Minions representing a typical discussion.
