Our Family Fun: Family Hike
http://curreyclan.blogspot.com/2011/06/family-hike.html
Monday, June 20, 2011. And went for a hike. Kevin was really proud of the kids because they hiked up an extremely steep incline. It was a little harder to get back down then it was to get up! We spent the rest of the day riding bikes, playing at the river, enjoying family time, and the campfire! So cute you guys! Love all the nature stuff you do :) Looks like you had a nice adventurous day! June 21, 2011 at 11:45 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Emmas in the Art Show! The School Year Begins.

The Fowkes Family: November 2008
http://thefowkesfamily.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 6, 2008. For the most part we use this blog as a "what we've been up to" for friends and family. But I've noticed that every now and then, our own friends and family use their blogs to express their ideas and (dare I say it? Agendas. . . so here I go. . This shouldn't surprise anybody, but we are thrilled. I've been to big rock concerts (as in U2 and Pink Floyd) and football games with just as many people and it wasn't the same - not even close (sorry, LSU fans)! I promise, we'll stick...

The Fowkes Family: Baby Eleanor Has Arrived!
http://thefowkesfamily.blogspot.com/2009/04/baby-eleanor-has-arrived.html
Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Baby Eleanor Has Arrived! Eleanor Renee Fowkes was born on Sunday, April 5 at 12:59pm. She weighed 10lbs 11oz and was 22 3/4 inches long. It was a very fast delivery - we arrived at the Birth Center at 10am and three hours later she was here! As many of you know, we had planned another homebirth, but Becky's Mom was already here and it made a lot more sense to let her stay home with our kids rather than kick them all out for who knew how long! It was a fantastic day! I am glad e...

The Fowkes Family: Ice Skating, Violin and Beyond
http://thefowkesfamily.blogspot.com/2009/02/ice-skating-violin-and-beyond.html
Sunday, February 8, 2009. Ice Skating, Violin and Beyond. We can't get our new camcorder to "talk" to our Mac, so we can't put any videos up. It will actually probably involve a software upgrade for the Mac - and then hopefully it will work. Otherwise Grandpa got us that nice camera and won't even be able to watch the footage we've been directed to get and post! For now (and we know, that's sooooooo 20th century) we only have a picture. This picture is from the trip we took with Gerald's parents to Colon...

The Fowkes Family: January 2009
http://thefowkesfamily.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 4, 2009. More to Come. . . we promise! New Year's Resolution #7:. Update the blog more often than every two or three months. I always enjoy checking the blogs of friends and I'm glad they. We got back today from a week in Williamsburg, VA with Gerald's parents and will hit the ground running tomorrow! It was a very relaxing week. Grandparents are the best. We also visited the Kennedy Space Center while we were in Florida. As we were driving up we were actually kind of giddy!

Our Family Fun: March 2010
http://curreyclan.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Many of you know that the Currey's have a family tradition that involves markers. It began when Emma turned 2. She started using any marker that she could find and coloring her tummy. It was almost constant. We would go to our friends house and they just knew that if she showed her tummy it would by pretty and colorful. It became a running joke. The Currey's should not own markers and the Finnestad's should not own scissors. Might love to know. Okay PPC- You can stop laughing now!

Our Family Fun: October 2009
http://curreyclan.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 31, 2009. The last three months has gone by super fast! I can hardly believe that Mayla. Is 3 months old already. Not only is she 3 months today but we also get to dress her up in her first costume! I love getting the kidos. Dressed up, because they love getting dressed up! I don't know what they like more the fun costumes, Grandma and Grandpa coming over to our house, or the candy. I think that I'm going to go with the candy! Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Our Family Fun: October 2010
http://curreyclan.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 8, 2010. When I arrived at the school Austin was asleep on the bed and as soon as he woke up he was in instant tears. Poor kid. He said that he felt like he was going to throw up and I knew we had to take him in to the UCC asap. He fell asleep again in the car, and several times at the clinic so the Dr ordered a CT scan. Our Family Fun: August 2010
http://curreyclan.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 30, 2010. At the end of last year Austin was able to meet his teacher for third grade. I love that their school makes it a priority for the kids to know who their next teacher is and where the class is located before they leave for summer break. They don't have to spend the summer worried about what to expect or be scared on the first day of school because they don't know where their class room is. At lease she isn't too big to get a picture with her teacher! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
