Drinks Advice: Mini-bio
http://drinksadvice.blogspot.com/p/mini-bio.html
Drinks Advice. Pushing the boundaries of taste. The Case For Beer. How did I end up here, doing this? I started running wine classes for a local college, along with blogging, mainly about beer. While I was doing that I was studying for the WSET. Well, my first job title in Oddbins was Wine Adviser, and it really involved chatting and creating conversations about wine - something I'd like to think that, in blogging about all sorts of drinks, I still do. http://drinksadvice.blogspot.com/2014/09/three-discontinued-balvenies.html
Drinks Advice. Pushing the boundaries of taste. The Case For Beer. Wednesday, 3 September 2014. Since I've neglected Whisky Wednesday. For a while I thought I'd hit back with a trio of official bottlings (not that you get many unofficial ones) from Balvenie. All of which are now discontinued. Three casks; olorosso sherry, first fill and refill bourbon. It took a while after pouring to show its aromas; hints of vanilla and a bit of honey but somewhat reclusive! Balvenie 'Single Barrel' 15. Musings of an elusive beer geek: April 2015
http://www.graphedbeer.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Musings of an elusive beer geek. About Me and Awards. Sunday, 19 April 2015. Cherry Cola Imperial Milk Stout. An opportunity to brew the former arose when friend, fellow home brewer and jolly nice chap Andrew Hobbs. Came to stay over on the weekend of the Siren Maiden launch party. We'd decided on brewing something together on the Sunday morning and having put this idea to Andrew in advance, we exchanged a few thoughts on it and settled on a recipe. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
