Rob's Gym Adventures: July 2010
http://robsgymadventures.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
A diary of a grown man's first adventure into a gymnasium. Monday, July 26, 2010. Monday 26th July – Monday session Week 3 - Tabata/Boxing. The last exercise was sitting up and punching, while your partner satup and blocked with the boxing mitt things. I struggled big time, but was rescued in the end by a coughing fit that I was genuinely concerned would turn into something a tad more gastric. It didn’t but it provided an unceremonious end to a really shitty session. Sunday, July 25, 2010. I’m quit...

Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A. Friday, June 27, 2008. I have a question, Mr Attenborough. Black spider: "So - this looks like a pretty safe rock, but we should have a plan in case something goes wrong.". Brown spider: "Okay, what do you have in mind? Black: "Well, I was thinking one of us should run and the other one stays back to defend the nest and attack the attacker.". Brown: "Hmmm. I Like Portello: Advertising Atheism
http://ilikeportello.blogspot.com/2010/03/advertising-atheism.html
A science groupie and atheist lost in a superstitious world. View my complete profile. Wednesday, 24 March 2010. How do we engage the proverbial man-on-the-street with the ideas of Atheism? After all, religion is so pervasive in our society. That’s just weird. Apparently. Atheism. Sleep in on Sundays. Atheism: For ...

Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A: August 2010
http://cleash-a.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A. Monday, August 9, 2010. Have you ever wondered if water. Gets slightly offended at the fact that it's "all about the land"? For example, when a blotch of land appears in the middle of an expanse of water, we call it an "island"; but when a blotch of water appears in the middle of an expanse of land, we call it "lake" or "pond" or - even worse - "puddle". Why aren't these things called "iswaters"? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A: Starbucks
http://cleash-a.blogspot.com/2008/07/starbucks.html
Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A. Thursday, July 31, 2008. With all the Starbucks stores closing across Australia over the past few days, one of the news programs did some interviews of shocked and distraught (ex)patrons of the fine establishment.the interviewer asked one lady why she was so shattered about Starbucks leaving Australia, and this antipodean young lass with a strong Aussie accent replied "Because it's an American icon.". Yeah, they were on the ball from the start. August 20, 2008 at 12:11 PM.

Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A. Sunday, April 27, 2008. Got some time to fill in? Go to YouTube, search for "human tetris". See you in five hours. Links to this post. I read a movie review earlier today. I forget what the movie was, but that's not the point. The point is that it described the storyline. The story of two "groups" that were after the same thing.one group was a gang of freedom fighters or samurai warriors or some band of thugs, and the other group was a "lone gunman and his partner. Excuse me Mis...

A science groupie and atheist lost in a superstitious world. View my complete profile. Wednesday, 26 January 2011. I Still Like Portello. BLOGGER stares at the screen of an open laptop. He notes the date of his last blog post and with a disbelieving look, checks his watch to confirm the current date. BLOGGER opens the LiveWriter application on the laptop and looks blankly at the blank WYSIWYG interface. BLOGGER begins to type. Hesitantly at first, then with more confidence. Who are you talking to? Blog I...

Monday 30th August – Monday Session Week 8 – Kettlebells and Sandbags. 8220;There are about 60,000 thoughts that go through your head every single day.”. And apparently the way to do that is to move shit around. 8221; I...
