Wednesday, 12 August 2015. Yesterday we were so fortunate to have an enviroschool day devoted solely to the Little Blue Penguin. The Little Blue Penguin is a pretty important wee dude. Unfortunately there aren't as many of them around as there used to be in Mahia. This is due to pests! So our big plan, with the Whangawehi Catchment group, is to eradicate these pests and reintroduce these little fellows.
