TimIT648: June 2009
http://timit648.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 18, 2009. Thoughts on Gmail Chat. Our group collaborated well to try out Google's new text, voice, and video chat, and I think that working together, we came up with a good group response. For my blog reflection, I thought I'd share my initial thoughts on our first official "online chat meeting.". Convenient/always available from any web browser via Gmail, no downloading required (for text chat). Chat works pretty well. Virtual office hours (for one-on-one or small group conferences).

TimIT648: Preliminary Thoughts on Web Site
http://timit648.blogspot.com/2009/07/preliminary-thoughts-on-web-site.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Preliminary Thoughts on Web Site. I'm finding this assignment to be pretty easy so far, because I've used NVU, and I'm not really a stranger to Web Design (I'm not an expert, either, but the process ceased being scary a long time ago) :). I just hope I am doing an adequate job with the class-related parts of it. I'll try to put it up on ocean tomorrow so y'all can see it. Hopefully you'll have some advice so that I can improve it. TimIT648: Ooops! Project Three
http://timit648.blogspot.com/2009/07/ooops-project-three.html
Thursday, July 30, 2009. I see that I should have made this its own post, instead of posting one post talking about Projects Two and Three. To remedy that (better late than never), I'm reposting my Project Three discussion here, along with the link to the report. I loved Ning. It's like being able to set up a class website or social network site, with built-in chat function, all by yourself. It's a great resource for the online component of a class that isn't going to be using WebCT/Blackboard.

TimIT648: A few thoughts on the web site.
http://timit648.blogspot.com/2009/07/few-thoughts-on-web-site.html
Saturday, July 18, 2009. A few thoughts on the web site. To create the buttons was an easy way to make the site look about a hundred times more professional than sites I'd done in previous years where I just used hyperlinked text. Because of time constraints, I didn't try to go into really fancy stuff, like hyperlinked images, nested tables, or CSS. But anyway, for a page like this, CSS wasn't really necessary. IT648/Madelon's Musings: Friday--work, work, work!
http://mrgruich.blogspot.com/2009/07/friday-work-work-work.html
Friday, July 3, 2009. Friday- work, work, work! Today, amidst laundry, grocery shopping, packing for a trip to north Mississippi, cooking, grading papers, and walking three miles (not necessarily in this order), I worked on my Website. I have all four pages saved and linked, and I am THRILLED! Being totally candid, I was not looking forward to this. But, as my group members assured me, it wasn't that difficult. Thanks, Dr. Wang, for the tutorial. Without it, I would have been lost. July 6, 2009 at 3:00 PM.

IT 648 Class: July 2009
http://lou-it648class.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 31, 2009. To me, the best thing about this class was that it was completely online, and it was about teaching online. It was the first time that I have used Blackboard completely in an online course. I also enjoyed my classmates in this class. Some had online teaching experience, some had in-class teaching experience and others had “real world” learning and teaching experiences. It made for a well-rounded group that brought a lot to the table. I love trying out technology tools. That assignm...

IT 648 Class: About Me
http://lou-it648class.blogspot.com/2009/06/about-me.html
Tuesday, June 16, 2009. My life in a nutshell…. From there, I returned to the West. Bypassing SLC, I headed to LaLa Land (aka Los Angeles). I became intertwined in the music industry world, where I worked for a management company that handled mostly producers and songwriters. I fit in quickly and was making my way up the food chain. Then it hit me, “is this the life I really want? These are a few of my favorite things:. My true passion is Traveling. Music defines my moods. The good and the bad.
