I Married a Marathoner...: November 2012
http://imarriedamarathoner.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
I Married a Marathoner. Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Tired 2 weeks AFTER a marathon? Last night my mom and I went out to dinner and our plan was to come home and unpack so I could feel productive at least one. Running such a long way will have taken a fair toll on your body, and it will need between three and six weeks to fully recover. And if you’re a bit low and directionless, running-wise, that’s normal too. For maybe six months your sole aim has been to run the marathon, and now ...Thank you, Runner...

I Married a Marathoner...: Why am I doing this???
http://imarriedamarathoner.blogspot.com/2012/10/why-am-i-doing-this.html
I Married a Marathoner. Friday, October 26, 2012. Why am I doing this? I'm not gonna lie. 2 days out from MCM and I am consumed with self-doubt. I haven't run a long run in 3 weeks and I'm questioning myself and doubting whether I have done enough training. Why am I doing this? Why do I think I have trained enough to finish this? How will I ever get through 26 miles? These are the little voices going through my head today. Totally out of my comfort zone. What if I don't finish? October 26, 2012 at 5:40 PM.

I Married a Marathoner. Thursday, November 1, 2012. My marathon experience in words, feelings and emotions. Well, hello there! I'm back to blogging after taking a few days off to soak in my post-marathon excitement! It's been 4 days since I finished my first marathon, the Marine Corps, and looking back on the experience I am filled with accomplishment. Quickly turned into us crossing the starting line. I also kept telling myself that the only way to get myself through this race was to take it: one.mi...

I Married a Marathoner. Thursday, August 30, 2012. You've come too far to quit now. Source: thehappyrunner.blogspot.com. Wow I took a look at my training schedule this morning and realized I'm almost finished with week 8 - that means I'm half way through training! Lately, some random things I've realized about running so often:. I'm pretty much always tired. Actually let me correct that. My legs. I feel like all I do is run. I know that goes without saying when it comes to training for a marathon, bu...

I Married a Marathoner...: July 2012
http://imarriedamarathoner.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
I Married a Marathoner. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. I stole this image below off a friend's Facebook wall - I just love it. So much of running is a mental game and convincing yourself that you can do it, even when your body doesn't want to. I need to run after work, but do I want to? No, not really. My legs are tired. But I know that when I hit the trail my mind will be what ultimately makes my legs go, and I know mind over matter is what will help me finish the MCM on race day. I leave you with:. During the...

I Married a Marathoner...: September 2012
http://imarriedamarathoner.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
I Married a Marathoner. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. It was about 4 days since I ran so I decided to get back on the trail last evening after work and completed 5 miles without a problem. I'm sniffling and tired at work today and debating doing an easy 3, but I think more rest is what I need. I'm trying hard to do everything I can to get rid of this freakin' cold so I'm able to complete 18 miles this Sunday. This blog is dedicated to random thoughts so because of that, I will be numbering my randomness:.

http://imarriedamarathoner.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
I Married a Marathoner. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Hello my fellow blog readers! I know, I totally owe you a 26.2 recap from the Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday and I promise to get to it very soon! I've been spending the past few days hunkering down during Hurricane Sandy, recovering some VERY sore muscles, trying to soak in/process all of my first marathon experience, and focusing on another big thing we have going on in our life right now - buying our first home! Saturday, October 27, 2012. To every...

http://imarriedamarathoner.blogspot.com/2012/10/twas-night-before-mcm.html
I Married a Marathoner. Saturday, October 27, 2012. Twas the night before MCM. Yesterday we went to the expo and can you tell that this clearly. Wasn't Brad's first expo experience and I was just a tad. More excited than him? 1772 and #21211 :). Best sign, hands down. Of course, I want to take a moment to say thank you. Every single little thing has made a difference. You might not know this, but your support has gotten me through this and this certainly isn't something I could have done on my own. Over ...
