I got exactly what I had hoped for.great friends, awesome weather, and put in my first 5 mile run of the season. You could definently tell the difference in the weather today. Sunday, October 18, 2009. With the weather getting cooler I find myself baking more often. Although I am not 100% vegan I love to bake vegan. Why use all the milk, butter, eggs and refined sugars when you don't have to? I have a wonderful book "Vegan with a Vengeance" by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. That has some of the best EVER vegan recipes. This book has something for everyone ranging from Tempeh. Reuben sandwiches to Fauxstess. These pumpkin muffins come from this book and they are awesome! 1/2 cup veg oil.

My boys are both playing little league baseball and some of their games and practices are held at a beautiful field in Chesapeake Beach. Last week during practice I was able to get away for a 45min run. I started in the Chesapeake Beach Marina and ran up to North Beach and back. I got a new G-unit (T-that's for you girl. hehehe.
