Also, she successfully broke me of my habit of breathing only on my right side during freestyle and I'm happy to announce I officially go both ways now ;). Sunday, October 18, 2009. With the weather getting cooler I find myself baking more often. Although I am not 100% vegan I love to bake vegan. Why use all the milk, butter, eggs and refined sugars when you don't have to? I have a wonderful book "Vegan with a Vengeance" by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. That has some of the best EVER vegan recipes. This book has something for everyone ranging from Tempeh. Reuben sandwiches to Fauxstess. These pumpkin muffins come from this book and they are awesome! 1/2 cup veg oil.

Saturday, March 27, 2010. During my pregnancy with my oldest daughter I craved meat, eating big macs and any other form or carcass I could get my grubby little paws on. This was without a doubt responsible for the 70lbs I gained. Yes, 70 lbs! I am happy to announce that I have kicked the E&C biscuit habit and am back on track! Thursday, May 20, 2010. Now that the weather in MD is beautiful again I'm back to exploring my new "stomping ground", Southern MD. My boys are both playing little league baseball and some of their games and practices are held at a beautiful field in Chesapeake Beach. Last week during practice I was able to get away for a 45min run. I started in the Chesapeake Beach Marina and ran up to North Beach and back. I got a new G-unit (T-that's for you girl. hehehe. The main street through North Beach.

Monday, August 30, 2010. Although I have not been blogging I have actually been running. My problem is that I have weeks where I run/lift/cross train and weeks where I don't. I decided last week to write myself a program hoping that having a plan will hold me accountable.to myself. Monday- 2.5 mile run. I went out for a run in my new neighborhood. Looping both round abouts aka the state of MDs. Cure for the common 4 way stop, Its 2miles so I decided to take it a little further and loop one of the cul.

Monday, June 7, 2010. This is my second week of 1/2 marathon training and I'm also getting some spinning and trainer rides in to prepare for my July tri. The program out of Run Less, Run Faster is very aggressive. Yes, its kicking my butt. My goal is to get ALL the interval work-outs in and gradually increase my mileage. 9 mile runs for week 2 just ain't. Wed- 30min trainer ride. Fri- 3mi hill run. Sunday was the zooma. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. That's right I decided to pull myself out of the funk I've been in and get my butt back in the game. I don't have any races on my schedule but that doesn't mean I should just quit training all together. Of course, I've been doing some running and weight lifting but nothing like I'm capable of so I need to get back in the habit of 5 days a week killer workouts! Get there once a week until February when the Prince Frederick aquatic center is finished. A smart ass, I know).
