Me and Mine - July {A Family Portrait Project} - Running in Lavender
http://www.runninginlavender.com/me-and-mine-july-a-family-portrait-project
A Lifestyle and Beauty Blog. July 31, 2015. Me and Mine – July {A Family Portrait Project}. It’s the end of another month and now officially summer! Well it’s the summer holidays at least, even if the weather doesn’t reflect it… but I won’t dwell on the weather, let’s keep things positive! You will have already seen quite a few pictures – I can only apologise for the holiday spam. Normal level of pictures will now resume. These pictures were taken on our last night in France…. Going on a plane – th...
A Week in Provence - Part 1 - Running in Lavender
http://www.runninginlavender.com/week-provence
A Lifestyle and Beauty Blog. September 10, 2014. A Week in Provence – Part 1. Last week my family and I travelled to Uzes in Provence for a week’s holiday. It was organised very last minute as we weren’t sure if my husband could take the time off work. As soon as I got the all clear (a few days before we set off) I hit the internet in search of the perfect place. But had never used it myself, so I thought I’d start there. After spending a few hours on the app and sending a few emails, I’d...Which was jus...

A Lifestyle and Beauty Blog. February 15, 2017. Feeling Zen at The SenSpa. Dom and I arrived early on Monday afternoon and headed straight to the Spa’s Zen Garden Thai restaurant. The menu was full of my favourite Thai dishes, including; Green Curry, Pad-Thai, Chicken Satay and Spring Rolls to name a few. I went for the delicious Chicken and Cashew Nuts with rice and Dom went for the equally tasty Green Curry. It was the perfect way to start our Thai Spa experience. Next we spent some time in the relaxat...

A Lifestyle and Beauty Blog. March 6, 2017. When you fall in love with a beautiful top…. I’m SO ready for winter to be over now, and for spring to shine. I realise we haven’t had a particularly hard winter this year but it really does feel like its been a long one. I’ve already mentioned it in my Little Loves post for February but now that I’ve got some pictures I thought I’d share them with you. Isn’t it gorgeous? I’ve also just ordered these two tops from Next. You may also enjoy:. February 3, 2017.
Pick Your Own Fun... {Our Weekend Adventure} - Running in Lavender
http://www.runninginlavender.com/pick-your-own-fun-our-weekend-adventure
A Lifestyle and Beauty Blog. August 3, 2015. Pick Your Own Fun… {Our Weekend Adventure}. For the past few summers I’ve been desperate to take the girls strawberry picking. Mostly because it feels so nostalgic to me, as I remember going with my parents as a young girl and eating my body weight in berries. I love sharing these memories with my daughters and experiencing it all again through their eyes. Next summer, I must make a note to go strawberry picking much earlier in the season! And Poppy’s in...

I Knitted Me A Beach: 2015-02-01

Blog Love and Links. Friday, 6 February 2015. This is Devon #1. As lovely as it may look here, all serene and gentle, I wish I hadn't just let the sunshine beckon me out for a run. Blimey that wind is a biter! 100 metres in and I felt like turning round and trotting back home, but then I'd feel a bit stupid. Like a loser. But despite all of that, I'm glad I saw it through. To see the green fields that surround us is something I never tire of. Thursday, 5 February 2015. Life Back Then / Captured Moments #1.

Me and Mine – A Portrait for June. Last month I joined in for the first time with the Me and Mine. Project, where you share a family portrait at the end of each month. We had some beautiful photographs. Taken by our friend and photographer Colin McPherson. And I felt I wanted to share them on my blog. This month, our photograph is very different! From the hospice and I thought it would be a good chance to take a few photos while we were feeling more relaxed. I know how hard it is to get a family phot...

Me and Mine – A portrait for July. Although it makes me so sad to know that these are the last photos of all of us together, I am also glad that we do have them and that we managed to make some really happy memories just days before Roger died. On the Saturday, and we had a relatively quiet day with my parents, Roger’s mum, sister and brother and my sister-in-law round to share some cake. Isn’t it lovely? Sadly, this wretched illness has meant I’ve had to come to terms with missing so much of your ...

Nonnie! -
http://www.hectic-dad.com/hectic-dad/nonnie
It's a hectic life, but somebody has to blog about it. July 31, 2015. Is a bit of a misnomer in the empirical sense…but to my three-year-old legs I was on my own, not a care in the world, and under my own power I was going faster than I had ever gone before. As soon as I arrived at Nonnie’s, we would park my trike in the garage and go inside. The next step was to call my Mom to confirm my arrival. It was our ritual several times a week. Food prep was messy, and I wasn’t supposed to be messy. In the early...

The adventures of the Bown family. My life with a little bit of madness. My favourite photo of the week 9. July 26, 2015. I took this picture on Sunday. Lauren’s godparents had come over from the Isle of Wight for a visit and a catch up. My mother in law is very poorly at the moment with cancer. Family time is so precious, with everything that my mother in law is going through at the moment, it really does bring this home! July 20, 2015. July 20, 2015. March 2015 – The adventures of the Bown family
https://twoteenagerstwocats.wordpress.com/2015/03
The adventures of the Bown family. My life with a little bit of madness. March 26, 2015. March 29, 2015. I saw this picture on Facebook yesterday. An American family that I follow, had posted a picture of the husband, after he’d fitted their baby’s car seat, whom they’re excitedly waiting to arrive. So true to the picture above, along came the ‘perfect parents’ who said they’d fitted it wrongly! It made me wonder why some people are always telling parents that what they are doing is wrong? March 24, 2015.

Running my way through Memphis and life! I’m Not Dead! January 23, 2014. I promise I’m not dead! Wow, haven’t posted an update to this since 2011, only a few months after I moved to Memphis. What have I been up to? Well, I never actually ran the Memphis Marathon I trained for. I stopped pretty much when the updates stopped, due to pain in my knees. But I didn’t quit running! Because I was training for the Marine Corps Marathon! This year, I already have my first race planned: the Germantown half-marathon...
