Monday, August 18, 2014. We bought a day at Sandy Pines at our friend's auction this spring. We were glad to finally find a chance to go and spend some time with the Gritters at Sandy Pines. The kids always love going there, and we had an awesome day full of tons of great food and fun. They were quite spoiled with lots of fun snacks and goodies! Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park. The kids loved spending time at the zoo. This was a perfect little zoo for our kids. Everything was close together and they got to see so many different animals- including giraffes! They even got to pet and hold little chicks and baby rabbits! We enjoyed a ride on the "safari" and enjoyed another picnic lunch. They all conked out on the way home from all the excitement :). Andy, Jen, and kiddos. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Monday, July 29, 2013. No more training wheels! Kaden got an early birthday present this year- a new bike! He's been practicing riding it all summer, and took a few rides around the neighborhood learning how to ride without training wheels (thanks to Daddy's help! He practiced on his smaller bike for awhile, and then all of the sudden, he just started riding his new, bigger bike perfectly! Andy, Jen, and kiddos. Monday, July 29, 2013. Saturday, July 27, 2013. Monday, February 8, 2010. Welcome, Emma Kate Vugteveen! 7lbs, 12 oz, 19 3/4 inches. Friday, January 22, 2010 at 12:41 pm. 7 days late but worth the wait! We checked into the hospital for induction around 6pm Thursday, January 21 and began the Cervadil which needed to be in place for 12 hours. After not much progress overnight, they begin pitosin around 7:30 am and broke my water. Apparently the breaking of the water was all our little girl needed to get the idea it was time to be born!
