Force 5 Fleet | Hunterdon Sailing Club

Sailing, sailboat racing and sailing lessons in northern New Jersey. FORCE 5 (Fleet #36). The Force 5 is a powerful single-handed racing dingy. Although one person races the boat, the cockpit is large enough to accommodate two people and provide ample day sailing enjoyment. This 14’ craft has a 91 square-foot mainsail, rolled deck and an adjustable rig. It is easily car topped. The class association website is www.force5.us. Flying Scot Sailing Association. Bernadette Levesque (4158) showing her son Noah (4062) how to sail a fast downwind leg. 29 boats, and their skippers showed up for an easy sail in the gentle 21-30 knot breezes at the Massapoag Small Boat. Regatta yesterday. Capsizes were the order of the day in all three fleets. Some of the boats threw their skippers, and others sailed away without them, and there were a couple of breakdowns due to the wind. They have asked that all Sunfish owners come dig out their boats and move them to the new designated storage area on site. We have received the following notification from the Yacht Club regarding any boats that are stored on site:. BYC will have management staff onsite this coming Saturday from 10am-1pm. And Sunday between 11am-1pm.

Next week is the Master's North American Championships at Massapoag. It looks to be another strong fleet. Since Kevin Buruchian is too young to compete he is going to serve as PRO.
