Once only accessible by boat or at low tide, it’s now connected to the mainland by a system of dikes built in the early 20th century. The island is just 3.5 miles long and about 1 mile across at the widest point. It is surrounded by Chuckanut, Samish, and Padilla Bays offering some of the best oysters, clams and crab in the Northwest.

The Stone Cottage was built in the 1940's. Come Stay in our Fairytale cottage! The cottage is surrounded by native Madrona and Pacific Yew. Herbs at the back door. Like a Christmas Card.
