Jay Lauver's Art Blog: September 2010
http://jaylauversartblog.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Jay Lauver's Art Blog. Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Another attempt and hi again. Here I am again, after all these months. And this is the last of the first three sculptures I did when I started in that medium. Where have I been? This horse is fired clay, about 8 inches tall. It is painted to look bronze and is unmounted. It is full of action, which is the best I can say for it as the features are somewhat exaggerated, but it's kind of fun. Jay Lauvers Art Blog. Jay Lauver's Art Blog: More Plein Air
http://jaylauversartblog.blogspot.com/2012/04/more-plein-air.html
Jay Lauver's Art Blog. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. This piece was done a couple of years ago at the Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne Texas. This is the Cibolo creek as it wanders through that reserve. The cypress trees are common along Texas waterways in the hill country and you wouldn't think such water loving trees would exist where drought is so common, but they do. Have been busy painting out before the weather turns too hot, so haven't gotten back to the blog as much as I had planned.

Jay Lauver's Art Blog. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. I think she looks like she's surveying her kingdom from a rocky hill and will probably name it something to do with that. I have finished the two paintings I did with the plein air group I took out in July and will get those on the blog soon. Hope you are all well. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jay Lauver's Art Blog: March 2013
http://jaylauversartblog.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Jay Lauver's Art Blog. Saturday, March 30, 2013. A San Antonio institution. Dear Blog followers,. Once again I am apologizing for the long delay since my last posting. It was because my old computer died and the new one has Windows 8 on it and I have still not figured out how to get it to download images from my camera. So I went out and got me a new old computer with Windows 7 on it and have had no trouble at all getting the camera to download images. Hmmmph. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Jay Lauver's Art Blog: April 2013
http://jaylauversartblog.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Jay Lauver's Art Blog. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. This is another clay sculpture, about a foot high and was inspired by my blue neuter, Bo, who sits by the doorway to the kitchen and demands a "tribute" of a pat on the head before you pass. It's currently at the downtown gallery and I've had a lot of good comments, but I still own it. It will take a real cat lover to find it irresistable. Hope you enjoy this one. Jay Lauver's Art Blog: March 2012
http://jaylauversartblog.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Jay Lauver's Art Blog. Thursday, March 29, 2012. I know I said I'd post more sculptures, but I forgot I had this painting which I thought needed to be posted. It's an oil, done on gessoed canvas, and is 16x20, which is all different from my usual painting base. Saturday, March 17, 2012. I've entered this in a couple of shows and it's done well, receiving good reviews and winning prizes. Judges seem to like the looseness. Jay Lauvers Art Blog. Friday, March 9, 2012. I have lots more to show you so keep tu...
