Monthly Archives: January 2011. Winston is the New Bill. January 19, 2011. I work with a Jamaican named Winston. He’s like Bill from my Boys and Girls Club days, except, well, Jamaican. Bill was a black man in his 50’s from North Carolina. One of the funniest people I’ve ever met. Once a sick, mangy dog limped over to the fence outside the BGC playground. Seeing the mutt in distress, Bill announced to the group of first graders crowding around it, “I’m going to blast that dog! Oh, Bill, would you really?
