Just another WordPress.com weblog. Beth and Randy: Part One. September 1, 2012 in Uncategorized. As I was making the dough for tonight’s bread, I started thinking about how excited I was to read Randy’s completed account of their trip to Germany. Once I had it in the oven to rise, but before starting the pizza dough for tomorrow, I decided to check my email. And there it was. An email from Randy! Jill picked us up at Zurich International Airport around 11am after a 7 1/2 hour trans-Atlantic flight and a ...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. 5 years of purrs. September 7, 2012 in Uncategorized. Five years ago (around this time), a certain little lady came to live with us! Here is a photo from her first of many photo shoots since coming to live with us. We did not realize at the time how common this pose would be. Or that she’d have us wrapped around her tail. You want me to live with you? You must first pass a test. Rub my belly. Anne and Whitney: Up, Down and All Around. Sights and Sounds of Savannah Eats.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Beth and Randy: Part Two. September 3, 2012 in Uncategorized. Cuckoo clock in Titisee. I’ll go ahead and mention that the photos of us at lunch, well, they are not good of anyone! Only the 4 of us will have the pleasure of seeing those. Randy and Beth in their hotel room. As you can see, they had a decent view. Awaken in a vineyard, windows thrown wide. Looks fake, like a picture, like lots of the vistas around here. Doesn’t seem possible it could actually look ...Petit...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Chicken/Rabbit-sitting: a few days in. September 1, 2012 in Uncategorized. We came out to this village on Tuesday to start watching the house and animals. Since then the weather has gotten much more fall-like. Chilly and wet. Fall is in the air. There’s a desire to put away all of my summer clothes and not look at them again for a while. But who knows what will happen with the weather in the next coming weeks. I’m so adventurous. Anne and Whitney: Up, Down and All Around.

Savannah | Adventures with Savannah
https://savannaheats.wordpress.com/2013/05/06/savannah-2
Just another WordPress.com weblog. May 6, 2013 in Uncategorized. The first photo I have on the computer of Savannah when she came to live with us in September 2007. Since Chris had always scared Savannah off, I thought S was not the most social cat. That she would be happy to be back inside and we wouldn’t see her much. Boy, was I wrong! Savannah was social and loved being part of the family! To have it. Or at least had. She loved the new house! So many rooms and places to explore! I see we are both in t...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. End of Chicken sitting. September 12, 2012 in Uncategorized. Tim informed me that now that I have Beth and Randy’s plog posts from their visits up, I have to write about our more recent adventures. Yesterday our friends arrived back home, so we get to sleep at home for more than one night at a time! And there were still 9 chickens when we left, only lost one, and maintained the same number of rabbits and pigeon. Whew! Was learning how to make Käsespätzle from scratch!
