Monday, August 18, 2008. I could be an Olympian. I've been watching some of the Olympics, at odd hours of course. At least it's on at 3 am when Gavin is up eating. I've never really watched more than the gymnastics I guess because I'm seeing sports I don't even know what they are. But I've seen table tennis! Table tennis (come on, it's ping pong) is an Olympic sport? I could do that! I saw men's table tennis, now that was funny. Oh and badminton(? Saturday, August 9, 2008. Batman and Super Baby. Friday, January 23, 2009. 1 Living across from an airfield and hearing and seeing the C130's and Apache's fly at tree top level on their approach. 2 The tanks and gunfire from the range down the street. Not as loud as in Germany but I can still hear them. 4 The friends I've made here, although most of them have moved already, I still miss them. Things I'll not miss:. 1 Going through a gate every time to get on and off post. 2 My new neighbors. 3 Some of the ridiculous Army stuff. Sunday, January 11, 2009.

Down this road: Oh this is bad
http://downtarasroad.blogspot.com/2009/05/oh-this-is-bad.html
Sunday, May 3, 2009. Oh this is bad. I've done a lot of work outside and I'm hoping to get our garden in today. My Dad and I put patio stones around my patio to make it bigger. My brother dug up my garden for me (although it needs it again). Tristan and I planted flowers in front of our house and we actually have little sprouts! I don't have the greenest thumb. It's more of a blackish thumb. So anything that grows is exciting. July 17, 2009 at 5:44 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Oh this is bad.

Down this road: December 2008
http://downtarasroad.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 12, 2008. I received this in a forward, and I thought this is one that sums it all up. It's a pretty good description of the military wife. To all the military wives. To all the wives who hold it together and those of us who. On occasion lose it.Thank you for being so wonderful! They may look different and each is wonderfully unique. But what do they have in common? They have this in common:. Lots of moving. Moving far from home. Moving two cars, three kids and one dog- - all riding with.

Sunday, May 11, 2008. Happy Mother's Day to all us Mom's out there. This is the day I became a Mom, 5 years ago. And in other semi-big news, I'm moving! And I'm feeling that way again, just can't do anything about it yet. Pregnancy news, everything is going good. The baby is growing great and kicking like crazy. He is going to be one strong little bugger, he kicks hard! Still no name yet, if Doug would only agree to what I like, this would be settled. A month and a half to go, woo-hoo! BECAUSE I SAID SO.

Down this road: October 2008
http://downtarasroad.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 27, 2008. Four months have gone so fast. So what else is new. Tristan had his last soccer game Saturday, yea! No more early and cold Saturday mornings. He was so proud of the trophy he got. He says he won "40 80 60 games". Ok. Tristan carved his pumpkin tonight, and when I say he carved it, I mean it. He was a little scary with a knife but there were no accidents. And he did a good job. It turned out cute, or scary according to Tristan. Not quite as impressive. Sunday, October 19, 2008.
