The Striped Deckchair: Getting all your ducks in a line
http://thestripeddeckchair.blogspot.com/2013/01/getting-all-your-ducks-in-line.html
Getting all your ducks in a line. Someone asked me the other day if I'd ever heard of the saying 'getting all your ducks in a line'. I said I hadn't and they asked me what I thought it might mean. After a moment's ponder I suggested that perhaps it was something to do with having your ducks in a line so you could shoot them more easily? Savage that I am! You may have to squint and look through your eyelashes to see anything that remotely resembles a flying duck but they are unusual stones none the less.

Monday, 30 March 2015. I have been making and gathering some seasonal essentials. Just the usual. lambs, bunnies, chicks . But no chocolate as I can't be trusted. And I don't want to peak too soon. My troll's Valentine market was cancelled. So I'm giving them another chance. With some bunny love for our Easter market. You can't keep a good troll down. I'm thinking chocolate cake this year as I've been such a good girl. Have you peaked too soon? Crafty ways make smug days. Saturday, 21 March 2015. I've go...

Tuesday, 30 September 2014. The year in books: september. Last month's read Perfect. By Rachel Joyce was just that, perfect. I loved it. The writing is beautiful. Insightful and very descriptive. The story held me captivated all the way to the end. The characters were so well drawn they seemed real. Perfect definitely deserves a recommendation. Rachel's first novel The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. Has also been added to my reading pile. I've just started reading Gone Girl. Labels: the year in books.
