Here is a picture from Ford theater where President Lincoln was assassinated. After President Lincoln was shot they rushed him across the street to this building so he wouldn't die in such a public location. Here is a picture from the back side of the white house. 52 weeks to preparedness. Sunday, July 11, 2010. A beautiful day at Panguitch Lake. We love this place. The lake was at it's fullest. This is the dam, it was only a foot below the top. Grandma and Grandpa Joe came up for a couple days. The bridge at Mammoth Creek. This was right before the turnoff to Bryce Canyon. Zoom in and you will see prairie dogs. This is one of their holes. It went forever. Overlooking the Escalante River. Taylin's fish. She is turning into quite a fisherwoman! At the top of Boulder.

Thursday, December 18, 2008. Things I have learned this year! Eat oatmeal for breakfast EVERY day. Actually, quality time does count! Praise people for things they do well. Don't limit yourself to associate with people who ALREADY share your values. Your kids will not learn things until they are ready to. Let them take their journey at their own pace. Play scrabble to keep your mind sharp. (still working on it). Seek out people that make you laugh. Tell your kids you love them everytime you talk to them.

Not only did our dry desert receive snow and rain, that we desperately needed, but we were able to spend time with our family and friends over the past couple of weeks.
