Tales from SE23: Be seeing you...40 years later
http://talesfromse5.blogspot.com/2006/05/be-seeing-you40-years-later.html
Be seeing you.40 years later. One of my all-time favourite TV shows,. Is to be remade for Sky. The latest rumours are that none other than Christopher Eccleston will play No.6 this time around.if they do it right, I'm convinced this will be the best thing on TV. The 1990's wasn't a good decade for quality UK TV drama - only a fews dramas such as. Our Friends in the North. As Sara reminded me! The 1960's version of. Was filmed in Portmeirion. Tales from SE23: The View from the Hill
http://talesfromse5.blogspot.com/2008/11/view-from-hill.html
The View from the Hill. There really is a hill in Forest Hill. Here's a piccie I took today of the view of north London. The white semi-circle on the horizon is the Wembley Stadium Arch - 12 miles away! And this is the Crystal Palace transmitter which is about 2 miles away. It was very sunny after a long period of rain - the wet tarmac almost make the spicture seem black and white. By contrast, here is the transmitter mast as seen from our local park, Mayow Park (on a nice sunny day!

Tales from SE23: University Challenge
http://talesfromse5.blogspot.com/2006/10/university-challenge.html
Wow, it's been a really busy September! We'll try and post all the news over the next few days. To kick off, Dave is a student again. He's started a 2-year part-time course for a Masters degree (MSc) in Human Resources at South Bank University. So far, after three weeks, things are going well although it is strange to be back on a campus again and makes you feel old! Juggling the studying with Dave's full-time job is going to be the biggest challenge. Posted by Dave and Sara. View my complete profile.
