Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Well, we had one wet trip from Texan Bay down the Rio Dulce gorge to Livingston. I'm sitting in an Internet cafe now, though, happily dry for the time being. Michael is wandering around town, checking on the boat, checking in with the agent who is handling our paperwork. It's all so calm now! OK, time to get practical, pay the bill and move on. Sunday, April 19, 2015. Then the hotel said we had no reservation and she had no rooms. At 7:30 on Saturday night in Guatemala City that could cause panic, right? But we did not panic, and soon she said she could have a room ready in a half hour. Then, fortunately, I was able to show her I had booked the room correctly, and suddenly she had a room for us.
