Monday, August 22, 2011. Day 2- First Day in the City, Part 1. The next day we were off to New York City. We drove to the station in South Norwalk, and then hopped onto a train. Which took us to Grand Central Station. I really like that building. :). We then took a subway to Battery Park where we were going on a harbor cruise. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Smells, scriptures, and Dad. I just want to say how grateful I am for the power of smell. It is such a blessing to have something that can bring childhood memories back so quickly and vividly. It's always AMAZING to think how divinely inspired our bodies are! It's such an amazing gift and all because the location of the olfactory bulb (which is responsible for decoding smells). Don't ask your dad about that homework question- he'll explain it to us for another half hour!
