LadybugKnitter: December 2009
http://ladybugknitter.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 3, 2009. I've been obsessed with knitting itty bitty holiday ornaments to decorate a holiday wreath. Faith's blog. And seeing her super cute sock advent garland was all the inspiration I needed to get started working on my ornaments. Aside from feeling that I was knitting with toothpicks and feeling like I was all thumbs while knitting them, they really were pretty quick and easy. I added some holly berries and a few clever ornaments that I purchased at Shadyside Farms. Posted by Lori H.

http://mulchandmore.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Mulch and More Crafts. Thursday, January 6, 2011. It's time to greet the New Year and apologize for my lack of consistency in blogging. Happy New Year to all! I didn't drop off the face of the earth, just got extremely busy with craft shows and gardening throughout the summer. This fall I started a "part-time" job which has developed into my working an average of 5 days a week:) I'm still keeping busy with spinning, my Etsy shop, and some inventory placed in a local craft store. http://mulchandmore.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Mulch and More Crafts. Friday, October 9, 2009. Links to this post. Thursday, October 8, 2009. Just before the frost/freeze that we had last week I was able to harvest the few remaining things in the garden, a five gallon bucket of tomatoes is now nesting cozily in boxes of newspaper waiting to finish ripening. Pictured below are some of the grape tomatoes, a squash, and my mystery growth. In the meantime I'm resisting the urge to dissect and letting it dry or ripen? Links to this post. To Market We Go.

Mulch and More Crafts: Dyeing Challenge
http://mulchandmore.blogspot.com/2010/06/dyeing-challenge.html
Mulch and More Crafts. Tuesday, June 8, 2010. This week I tried matching some roving that I had dyed using the rainbow technique of painting the colors on and then heat setting. The main challenge was adding enough dye to cover the white without adding so much that the colors would over-mix and become muddy, the most that I could heat-set at a time was 8oz and I needed 1 lb of the same which meant repeating myself:). Is the one on the left a close enough match? Labels: hand dyed wool. A Sampling of my sh...

http://jmquilts.blogspot.com/2008/10/we-arent-moving.html
Saturday, October 4, 2008. It just feels like it! My carpenter called yesterday and said his planned appearance next Saturday wasn't looking too good. But with rain forecast for 3 days in the coming week and no inside jobs lined up on his regular job, he wondered if I would be upset if he calls some morning and comes that day. . Not upset - I'd be thrilled! I have been cleaning, sorting, and unloading cabinets at a slow speed. Today. kicked it up a notch. . Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Make ...

Saturday, October 18, 2008. K is home for the weekend. . We are dyeing fabric in the basement. . I'm not very patient as the fabric is dyeing. . Making lunch (boneless pork chops on the grill, cauliflower) . In my mind. tap, tap, tap. . How did it turn out? I'm not patient, either, it seems, lol! October 19, 2008 at 4:05 PM. The weekend stayed busy! Even K commented today that I didn't have fabric pictures up yet. Just got home about 10:10 pm from taking her back so not tonight. :). May 29, 1983.

and sew on.....: Harvest Report
http://jmquilts.blogspot.com/2008/10/harvest-report.html
Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Phil started to combine soybeans on October 1st, a late start this year. At this point, he is about 3/4 of the way finished with his beans. Yields are on the low side - mid 40's - 50 bu an acre and then he hit a field that was even less. Ugh! 160;He attributes some late season disease to the low yields and the very wet spring to the field that was even worse. . And pig work to catch up on. . He is hoping to tackle the county plot by Friday. View my complete profile.
