Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Over Memorial Day weekend, we took Emma Claire on her first camping trip to Jordan Lake. Kyle's entire family went and we had a great time. Emma Claire adores her cousins (both sides) and she had a great time hanging out with Tyler and Lane. She absolutely LOVED camping and has been asking to go back. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. For Father's Day and my birthday, we went to Krispy Kreme for breakfast. Emma Claire's response when we opened the box of donuts. "ooooooooooo". We try and limit the amount of junk she eats to a minimum but in celebration of the day she devoured an entire donut. Here are a few cell phone pictures from Kiawah too cute not to share. Monday, July 18, 2011. A few weeks ago we dug out the potty we inherited from my nephews for Emma Claire's bathroom since we had been successful intercepting a few bathtime. Disasters by sitting her on the big potty. The intent was to sit her on it every night so she could get used to it but we had not yet started that. I asked her if she was done and she nodded yes. A Little Bit About Me :-). Houses and Puppies and Crafts… Oh My! I’ve been on hiatus from the blogging world for most of this year and the guilt has finally gotten the best of me. I do have some good excuses though: getting used to married life, going on an awesome Costa Rica honeymoon, holidays, BUYING OUR FIRST HOUSE (yay! Moving in February, decorating which is a perpetual work in progress, and on top of all that in April we adopted a boxer-lab mix puppy who we named Maggie. Zip Lines in Costa Rica!
