Monday, January 26, 2009. I came up with this clever (or so I thought) name for my runs on Sundays. Very original, I know. I realized yesterday that sidewalks and shoulders are hard to come by these days. So I drove around for a bit looking for a new, clearer route to shuffle. Aubry L. Parkway from W. Rifle Club Rd to Bowl and Pitcher and back turned out to be the route, and what an awesome run! Ok, shoulders relaxed, check. Where's my foot strike? Arms at 90 degrees, check! How's my torso rotation?

Sunday, July 31, 2011. I was glad to start with the run and was really excited to start behind the top guy. I ran a controlled first loop (red), but that hill was really tough! I thought about just firing them off quickly, but decided to take my chances and begin the learning process so I am more competitive in the future if I get to do more of these. Monday, June 18, 2012. Upon arriving at the registration table, I was told that the race had Internet postings that listed a 1 PM, 2 PM and 3 PM start. Wait . what? The race is always at 1. I found a volunteer who wanted to dealput up with my curiosity. I’m Elena, I’m from Italy and now all the stereotypes start, yeeeay- oh you like pizza spaghetti (everything combined with some hand gestures).
