Diving is a a great venue in which to find some of the more interesting! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). William K. Moore. A new painting - still with the Swimmer theme. Simple template. Nancy Lee Galloway - Art, Travel and Entertainment: August 2014

Monday, August 18, 2014. Another one for the aquatics! Ladies for the Line Up". I started out with this group of swimmers and gradually developed the brushstrokes that appealed to me. It felt more water-like to have the movement of the strokes down the paper. The grouping also evolved into a more cropped version which helps keep the eye focused on the swimmers in the middle. Edit: Seeing the painting online made me realize it needed more color. So here it is - colorized! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Painting my 'art out. If you hear a voice within you say, 'You are not a painter,' then by all means paint…and that voice will be silenced." — Vincent Van Gogh. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Enjoying the sunny afternoon before the snow comes. Life is good when I can paint! Ceramic birds are easy to pose! Also, easy to change in the painting if I want them to be a different color or even species! Why be limited by reality? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My other creative blogs. Arty Collages and Dolls.
