Sunday, August 28, 2011. Are we camping now? We took the family up for "family weekend" at Lance's elk camp. The entire weekend Sami kept asking, "Are we camping now? It was a lot of firsts for our family; my first time in a pop-up, the girls' first time camping, Sami's first time fishing and hiking all.the.way! It rained the entire first day we were there- so the girls enjoyed playing on all of the mattresses in the pop-up. Samantha was SO EXCITED to go fishing! Showing off her pole. They had a blast!

Thursday, October 27, 2011. I love this time of year, mostly because I love pumpkin! Here's some pics of our pumpkin time: our HOA Fall Festival, a local festival and carving Jack-o-lanterns with daddy. Sami loves coloring, especially with marker on pumpkins! Mommy loves the free pie pumpkins! Ellie enjoys playing with the 'baby pumpkins'. The local festival had plenty of things to keep the girls' attentions. Sami got a fairy. Eliana got a ladybug. I love Ellie's face here! But daddy I want to do the saw!

Cole has mastered sitting up by himself. He can't get into this position by himself, but he stays when I put him there (at least until he decides he rather roll around.). Yesterday, he was sitting and I reached out my fingers to him, and he grabbed them and pulled himself up to a standing position. I didn't offer any strength, just support.
