http://commonhousehold.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Deep Thoughts of a Common Household Mom. Thursday, July 31, 2014. Some recent conversations in the Common Household, revealing how we are uninformed or misinformed. Netflix describes Star Trek: The Original Series. As follows : “. Led by unflappable Capt. Kirk, the crew of the starship Enterprise delves deep into the far reaches of space to explore new worlds and civilizations.”. We were all in the car, driving somewhere. A sign at a local church advertised a talk by Franklin Graham. Is it ever Remington.

Random Imaginings: December 2008
http://randomimaginings.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 5, 2008. Well, Jim had his eye on a new toy and sealed a deal today. We are going to be the proud new owners of a PLR-16. It looks like this:. Is it obvious I believe in the right to keep and bear arms? On a distantly related note - if you get a chance you should watch the movie 'Iron Jawed Angels. The sacrifices of the past should never be taken for granted. Links to this post. Thursday, December 4, 2008. How insane is that? Oh - and the return trip? Links to this post. I'm Christina...

http://randomimaginings.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2009. We are on our second Snow Day here. It's really pretty, but now I'm getting stir crazy and want to go to the store. My grocery list is short - but hey - any excuse to go play in the snow is a good one! In the meantime, here is a view out my front door this morning:. And here's my cat - discovering the Triops:. Links to this post. Monday, January 26, 2009. Ok - I'm now another year older, but I'm not supposed to be feeling it already! Ok, maybe not but it was worth a shot!

Random Imaginings: February 2009
http://randomimaginings.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 2, 2009. So - the game was great! Lots of surprises and what a last minute win! Not the team I wanted to win - but that's ok. On the other hand, the commercials were NOT so great. My favorite was the Pedigree commercial:. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). FEEDJIT Live Traffic Map. View my complete profile. Click here to see details for. Thoughts from my noodle: Facebook
http://frommynoodle.blogspot.com/2011/06/facebook.html
Wednesday, June 08, 2011. I think I'm over the whole Facebook phenomenon. I have an account, as do (it seems) most people in the electronically gifted world. Checking what other people are saying seems to be almost a necessity, since . well, I'll get to that in a moment. But as a forum? I think I'm about finished. Then more and more people found me, and it was nice hearing from old friends. Unfortunately, those old friends don't post much. For this man is shocking. Skeeter had been in town, gotten a ...

Thoughts from my noodle: Manners
http://frommynoodle.blogspot.com/2011/02/manners.html
Wednesday, February 09, 2011. I've never truly lived in the suburbs before. We lived in midtown Memphis, then we moved to a suburb of Memphis, but it wasn't The Suburbs as I had seen portrayed in movies. The houses were all older and different from one another, on unevenly spaced plots of land. That was our old neighborhood. Now, we DO live in one of those neighborhoods that looks like a movie set. Every time I hear the "Over the Hedge" version of " Rockin' the Suburbs. The dogs in action, but I'm cleani...

The Road, Let’s Travel | A Road with a View

A Road with a View. The road, let’s travel. The quotes i love best. The Road, Let’s Travel. March 24, 2009. To look up or down no road but it stretches and waits for you – however long, but it stretches and waits for you. 8212; Walt Whitman, Song of the Open Road. It’s no secret. That I love a good road trip. Or even a bad one, really, since I’m not sure I can remember a road trip that was. Where I fell hard for its scuffed-up charm and the smell of woodsmoke in the air. Where you can find a list of.

La La Land: December 2012
http://lalaslalaland.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 29, 2012. I'm cleaning out my emotional closet - so to speak - with these last few posts. I'm writing small snippets about big things that are a negative force in my life, in the hopes that this will clear the way for more positive posts in the coming new year. I've made great progress, though most of it is psychological rather than physical during the past 9 months of my 13 month Healthy Lifestyle journey. So what is so negative about that you ask? Now, while I'm feeling good about th...

Blooms and Beads: July 2016
http://gardenbeads.blogspot.com/2016_07_01_archive.html
A journal of gardening and other creative pursuits. Monday, July 11, 2016. An Ode to the Daylily. I have been buying daylily hybrids since I started gardening. I think I probably received a Roots and Rhizomes catalog in the mail, and bought several page collections. I'm terrible at remembering the names, but they thrive in my sandy soil, and add so much color in July. I have quite a few yellows. This tiny yellow came from a friend. This is the most red lily I have, with a lovely green eye. I'm a professo...
