Words of a Wolfe: Purpose Day 8: Planned For God's Pleasure
http://mrswolfe.blogspot.com/2011/03/purpose-day-8-planned-for-gods-pleasure.html
Saturday, March 19, 2011. Purpose Day 8: Planned For God's Pleasure. You exist for his benefit, his glory, his purpose, and his delight. This statement should make me feel honored and special, but why does it make me feel like a Muslim wife? Its my stubborn heart that tells me I belong to ME. I guess its the way of the world that drills into us women that we are nobody's. We really have to adjust our way of thinking to wrap our heads around this thought. He wants you to enjoy life, not just endure it.

Words of a Wolfe: Purpose Day 9: What Makes God Smile?
http://mrswolfe.blogspot.com/2011/03/purpose-day-9-what-makes-god-smile.html
Sunday, March 20, 2011. Purpose Day 9: What Makes God Smile? Its interesting that when I read this one yesterday I was having a little pity party for myself. I was having one of those 'lip-out - woe-is-me - I - only-want- my-way' sort of moments and I was feeling blue. Funny how the reading was about making God smile! The smile of God is the goal of your life. Ooops, couldn't even focus on making myself smile let alone God. God smiles when we love him supremely. God smiles when we obey him wholeheartedly.

Words of a Wolfe: April 2011
http://mrswolfe.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 03, 2011. This is the Day That the Lord Has Made. This is the day which the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24. It is SUCH a beautiful day today and my heart is filled with songs and praise and joy! My son is outside playing with his grandpa and I hear laughter. This brings me joy! My mother in law is making home-made chicken noodle soup for lunch and we're invited. This brings me joy too! Some of the lyrics:. Wonderful so wonderful is your unfailing love. From ...

Words of a Wolfe: Purpose Day 5: Seeing Life From God's View
http://mrswolfe.blogspot.com/2011/03/purpose-day-5-seeing-life-from-gods.html
Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Purpose Day 5: Seeing Life From God's View. The way you see your life shapes your life. Life is a Test. You will be tested by major changes, delayed promises, impossible problems, unanswered prayers, undeserved criticism, and even senseless tragedies. I know God wants us to pass these tests and grants us the grace to handle them, but I do see myself failing miserably at them in hindsight. Life is a Trust. The more God gives you, the more responsible he expects you to be. Well, if...

Words of a Wolfe: Purpose Day 13: Worship That Pleases God
http://mrswolfe.blogspot.com/2011/03/purpose-day-13-worship-that-pleases-god.html
Thursday, March 24, 2011. Purpose Day 13: Worship That Pleases God. God wants all of you. Not just our hearts, not just our minds, not just our spirits, not just our bodies. all! God is pleased when our worship is accurate. God is pleased when our worship is authentic. Worship is your spirit responding to God's spirit. As we are reminded that worship is NOT about ME, its our natural reaction to God, its something we must WANT to do, that comes out of us in response to God's awesomeness, his greatness.

Words of a Wolfe: Purpose Day 12: Developing Your Friendship with God
http://mrswolfe.blogspot.com/2011/03/purpose-day-12-developing-your.html
Thursday, March 24, 2011. Purpose Day 12: Developing Your Friendship with God. You are as close to God as you choose to be. Yeowch - truer words have never been written. Our relationship with God is all based on our choices, limitations and blockades. He's there, ready and willing and so desiring it. The one-sidedness is probably felt by him too. Aching for us to open ourselves to him, be willing to get to know him and love him. I must choose to be honest with God. I must choose to obey God in faith.

Words of a Wolfe: Purpose Day 10: THe Heart of Worship
http://mrswolfe.blogspot.com/2011/03/purpose-day-10-heart-of-worship.html
Monday, March 21, 2011. Purpose Day 10: THe Heart of Worship. The heart of worship is surrender. Surrender is a negative word in our day and age. My husband and I discussed how it made us feel to think of the word 'surrender' and both of us felt negatively towards it. You think of defeat, losing, giving in. but surrendering to God is so much more than all of those incorrect assumptions we have about it. Its the natural response to God's amazing love and mercy. Surrendering is not for cowards or doormats.

Words of a Wolfe: Purpose Day 7: The Reason for Everything
http://mrswolfe.blogspot.com/2011/03/purpose-day-7-reason-for-everything.html
Thursday, March 17, 2011. Purpose Day 7: The Reason for Everything. It's all for him. Without God's glory, there would be nothing. It is the essence of his nature, the weight of his importance, the radiance of his splendor, the demonstration of his power and the atmosphere of his presence. In our selfish day and age, it's hard to grasp that everything that is everything is for God's glory. And without him, there is nothing. Everything! I think my mortal mind is too small to wrap around this. View my comp...

Thursday, March 31, 2011. Catching up The Purpose Driven Life. I hate that I have not blogged for a whole week! We had family visiting from out of town and it was wonderful. I was sad to see them leave today. However, my sweetheart also left today and we have been reading Purpose together so I'm thinking I should take a bit of a hiatus until he returns (as we were only sharing the one copy). So we may not finish our 40 days of reading at the end of Lent but we will get it done together. Well, this really...
