“The Special Needs Marriage” | Smiles For Easton

Follow Easton's story here! 8220;I Once Was Blind”. 8220;Shining Bright” →. 8220;The Special Needs Marriage”. November 19, 2014. The reception was wonderful. The storm the night before blew the top off the patio on the venue and made for a gorgeous view of downtown Nashville. Dancing and laughing, it was a day I will never forget. We drove off in an old Rolls Royce on our way to stay the night at the Union Station hotel before we left for our honeymoon the next morning. According to the American Psycholo...

Follow Easton's story here! 8220;Let go” →. 8220;There Will Be a Day”. April 19, 2013. Because at times, I put so much faith in this world. Faith in a fallen people, faith in doctors, faith in a new job. Faith in things that, frankly, just don’t matter in the big scheme of things. It is a constant battle for me to remember daily why I am on this earth as a Christian. I am simply called to love God and to love others and to give glory to Him. That’s it. April 19, 2013 at 5:16 pm. You remain in my prayers.

Follow Easton's story here! 8220;There Will Be a Day”. 8220;To Whom It May Concern” →. 8220;Let go”. July 22, 2013. Why is it so hard for us to let go? Why is it that we strive to hold on to things that we have no control of? We clutch and grab onto anything that will keep us comfortable and then wonder why we don’t feel or see God when we pray. It’s so much deeper than that. We have learned to take things one day at a time. We take joy in his small victories like sitting up and eating with a spoon.

Moebius Musings: November 2014
http://moebiussyndromemusings.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
This is a site first of all about Moebius Syndrome. But it is also a site about having a facial difference in general, about living with it, about succeeding, and about life. We'll talk here about things directly related to Moebius Syndrome and facial difference, about things tangentially related to it, and about my comments concerning any and all of it. Wednesday, November 26, 2014. I-JUST-THOUGHT-THIS-WAS-INTERESTING DEPT: AMERICAN TEENS AND LONELINESS. It finds teenagers today are less empathetic....

Monday, August 10, 2015. We've been busy, lots of traveling and various family events. Let's go all the way back to May and start from there. Ash got engaged in May! We surprised her afterward at the house with a party, inviting friends and Randals' family. So much fun! She was shocked, which made it even more fun! Countdown to next April! So nice to catch up with old friends! Surprisingly enough we all slept well in a hotel room together! Fun at the Magic House Children's Museum. Then basically as soon ...

Wednesday, July 15, 2015. 5 months (and some change, I'm a week late) with this precious baby boy. I absolutely cannot believe it. Burton, you have stolen Mommys heart, and I am so thankful for you and your big cheeks and chunky little thighs. And that smile, your big toothless grin makes me melt! Burton, here are your stats at 5 months:. Weight and Height: we will find out next month! Dislikes: car seat until you fall asleep, being left alone on the floor for too long. Eye Color: dark blue. You Me = MG.

Wednesday, December 10, 2014. We have been counting down the days until Christmas with a little more flair this year! With each day on the Santa calendar, there is a small activity for us to all do together as a family. Avery has grown to get pretty excited about it each night; it's pretty cute. Here is what we have been doing the last 10 days of our countdown! Day 1: Go to the Boy Scout's Christmas tree lot and get our Christmas tree! Finding out what Day 1 holds. Day 2: Decorate the Christmas Tree.

Thursday, October 30, 2014. September we went to Atlanta for the Garth Brooks concert with some of our dear friends Blake and Holly Beth. My favorite part of this picture is the photobomb by the girl in blue. No surprise, he was amazing! Meanwhile back at Honey and Graygry's. Two peas in a pod. Avery's school pictures. She is too cute for words. I mean, come on? Zoo trip one Saturday with Daddy while Mommy studied for school. Trip to Granddaddy Wayne's farm the beginning of Oct. Sunday, October 19, 2014.

Friday, August 14, 2015. So I'm a week late in posting, but let's just say it's a miracle I'm still sane and here (barely) after the week we've had. Burton here are your stats at 6 months:. Weight- 17 pounds 14 ounces (50%). Length- 26.5 inches (75%) this was your exact length from your 4 month appointment, so either they were wrong then or were wrong this time. Obviously you've gotten longer over the last two months. Dislikes: you still despise your car seat for any extended length of time. Somethin...
