The entire rescue process took about 2 hours. December 25th – Tuesday – 2001: X-mas “not-flying”, iced wings, and accident. Steinar and meself decided to try out Sundvollen on Christmas Day, and have our first “frozen water” landing for the season. While inspecting the ice (was it thick enough? He left hang gliding competition flying five years ago, but has started dabbling again - he just won Bassano in Italy. Wil he or won´t he be in Laragne? And if he is, will it make Austria unbeatable? Terje Solberg and I decided to give Eggekollen in Lier. I have also bought a action cam to capture some scenes form the air. Based on recommendations from friends I chose a Drift 170 HD. Camera. I have just used it once, but below is a short video from me landing at Egge last Sunday. Flying June 7th 2010 – June 11th 2012. June 13th, 2011.
