He was playing bass for Deep Love: A Ghostly Rock Opera. It’s an incredible show you should definitely check it out). He was home for a couple hours, and then he left again for yet another gig with his bar band, Rooke. Well, my husband. I recently discovered a website called Road Widows. Love the Music, or Love the Musician? September 28, 2014. Love the Music, or Love the Musician? I remember seeing Taking Back Sunday when I was in high school. They opened for Weezer and Blink 182, and seeing those three bands all in one night was the best thing ever to my teenage self. I would later write in my diary about how great the show was, and I would reminisce about it weeks even months later. Bands were so cool, and live shows were even cooler. September 12, 2014. My husband’s in a bar band called Rooke. Now, there are two types of bars in Idaho Falls: the white-trash redneck bars and the scary-as-hell biker bars (both are paid a visit by the occasional group of cowboys), all of which allow smoking indoors. Who the hell allows smoking indoors these days? There’s some crazy shenanigans that go on at these bar gigs, which always make for a great story, so stay tuned for more posts about them!
