http://artistspaint.blogspot.com/2010/03/dean-grey.html
Thursday, March 4, 2010. Mixed media on watercolor paper - 8" x 10". This self-portrait represents my lifelong struggle with depression. The sadness. The pain. The hopelessness. It just won't let me be and I fear it'll always be a part of my life. My blog: http:/ explodingdoughnut.blogspot.com/. March 4, 2010 at 2:19 PM. Dean is such a wonderful artist! His blog is fantastic. I hope he can kick the depression in its behind! Do u hear me Dean? March 5, 2010 at 11:34 AM. March 11, 2010 at 11:34 AM. I can r...

http://sweetpomona.blogspot.com/2010/07/hello.html
Well, it's sunday night.and i didn't paint this weekend. but.i did start to clean my studio. sort of. tomorrow i commit to paint for at least one hour. one wee hour. Here's a painting i did with my friend, tiffany. the photo is not the best because of the glare. she seems contemplative and peaceful. i could use a little more of both of those things! Happy new week, everyone. 7/27/10, 7:49 PM. I love this, amy! Its so wonderful to see your paintings evolve! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A CUP OF JO.

Monday, June 20, 2011. Sugar Skull masks - Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead. Sugar Skull mini masks. Sugar Skull masks - group 1. The mold I used had 3 different skulls on it which worked out great, since I ended up doing 3 groups (some people may not be able to finish for whatever reason, and I had been on a list in case they needed someone to fill in for a group or two). I first saw the candy molds in Taos, NM, but was able to get these in Colorado Springs from La Fuente Imports. Dia de los muertos.

Saturday, October 27, 2012. Polymer Clay Journal Cover Swap. Awhile back I signed up for a Polymer Clay Journal Cover Swap over at the Polymer Clay Swaps. Although we had both asked each other about favorite colors, themes, etc., we basically let our creativity take over knowing that we'd each be happy with what we received. Here is the beautifully detailed journal that Pat sent me:. I love all the detail in her canework and texture! What a lovely combination of purples and blues. Thanks, Pat!

Jainnie Jenkins: About Me
http://www.jainniejenkins.com/p/about-me.html
I am a creative, 40-something soul who loves all arts and crafts, currently living in the hills of Colorado with my wonderful husband and outdoor critters. You don't want to stop, you don't want to sleep. You just want to keep at it! There are so many new things to learn in the art and craft world, and I really don't want to limit myself to just one. I love getting inspiration from my surroundings and experiences. It really is fun to get excited about making things and being creative. A Work In Progress.

Jainnie Jenkins: Fairy Door Swap
http://www.jainniejenkins.com/2013/01/fairy-door-swap.html
Monday, January 28, 2013. Fairy Door in polymer clay - by Jainnie Jenkins. In December, the Polymer Clay Swaps group did a Fairy Door Swap. Fairy Doors are supposed to be portals that fairies come through when you're not looking (how cute is that? I was paired with a lovely woman named Sherryl. You can view my door, above, with a tree growing around it, and you can view hers below, with all of the precious details. Did you notice the heart-shaped stepping stones? Fairy Door by Sherryl R. Thursday, April 05, 2012. Flower pendants in polymer clay. I wanted to share a couple of pics of my favorite flower pendants in polymer clay. Okay, granted I've only made a couple of these so far, but I'm really liking them. These are made with artist-grade polymer clay (a.k.a. Premo) and mica powders. Flower pendant with pink background - by Jainnie Jenkins. Flower pendant with gold background - by Jainnie Jenkins. I'll have to really start looking at flower pics!
