Saturday, February 28, 2015. Tom and lila are off and so will be connor's toe nail. Tom was supposed to be gone this weekend at a bike training things but since now he has two other bike training things on the schedule he ditched this one and decided to head into London with Lila to go see a play! As Les Mis was sold out I suggested Wicked and off they went! Thursday, February 19, 2015. Of course, it ended with Bennett falling into the water which, amazingly, again, Tom caught on camera. I mean reall...

Thursday, July 30, 2015. Two nights in a row. Here are two things that are not fun to wake up to. 1 A five year old throwing up. 2 Rolling over into a puddle of pee that your three year old so generously deposited on your sheets. Number one happened on Wednesday, the second happened on Thursday. Ugh. It's all good though. Sheets can be washed, kids get better. But it does put a bit of a damper on the way your morning starts out! Saturday, July 25, 2015. Bailey island and cardiff castle. What would a day ...

Thursday, April 30, 2015. So this is an amazing place. Here's why:. Spanning more than 700 years, the history of Hever Castle is rich and varied. The original medieval defensive castle, with its gatehouse and walled bailey, was built in 1270. In the 15 th. Centuries it was the home of one of the most powerful families in the country, the Boleyns, who added the Tudor dwelling within the walls. Gradually it fell into decline before William Waldorf Astor invested time, money and imagination in restoring the...

Saturday, August 01, 2015. Alum chine the second. Spending all Saturday at home usually doesn't go well for us. I want to get housework done but in general either people don't want to help or they do but disaster follows in our wake (aka my sons). So especially if there happens to be even a modicum of sunshine out we go! Lucky us this time our friends R, T, Th, and W met us! A lovely marketing scheme if you ask me. I tell you.when we moved here, beaches were not anywhere on my list of things that wou...

Friday, October 31, 2014. The halloween that wasn't. Halloween here in England is not like Halloween in American which I believe I mentioned before. Here's how ours went. Eat muffins in the morning. Open fun Halloweeny presents and start eating candy. Put on Halloweeny t-shirts. Play around at home - Bennett of course changed to Wall-E after the picture and played with his "bowan". Take selfies with Connor and a picture of the kids together. Get Emma over to her friend's house for a Halloween party.
