March 11, 2010. 8212; philstablein @ 3:40 am. I am gonna brag for him, so he seems more modest. Sean’s PRs before October were something like….255 squat, 135 press, and 305×2 deadlift. In training he has done 325×5 squat, 135×5 press, and 325×5 deadlift. Solid improvements from the old PRs into the training lifts. But no amount of training equals the excitement of testing. February 4, 2010. 8212; southbaltimorecf @ 3:07 am. So I redid Fran today. This is after 3 months of SS and a 5 month layoff from any CF style metcon whatsoever. Best effort previously was 5:36, while CFing pretty hard but with no strength focus. BW was 170 at the time. This time was 7:48. Let’s see how the numbers shape up…. BW – 170. Time – 5:36. BW – 202. Clamshells w/ black theraband, 3 sets of 10. Goblet squats w/ 30# DB, black theraband above knees, 3 sets of 10. Hip thrusts, holding for five seconds at top concentrating on using glutes only, 3 sets of 10. Reverse lunges, 3 sets of 10 for each leg. 12 DB push press (12.5#). 10 hang PC (33#). 80 yd FC (35#). 50 jump rope singles.
