The Sparks' Desert Adventure. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Uh-oh" is the key word today! Sunday, May 27, 2012. Today Savannah and I spent the day at the Kempinski Hotel, Palm Jumeriah! It was a special through the "expat women" organization. For the equivalent of about $34 dollars, Savannah and I each got breakfast and a day pass to the hotel's private beach and pool. His recommendation was to meet him at the office in the morning and he would glue it if necessary. Of course, it looked much better in the morning. While Chris and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Pierchic at the Al Qasr Hotel, Savannah stayed at home with her first "non-family" babysitter! One of my good friend's has a live in Nanny, but our friends are already in the US for the summer so we were able to have Shama come and stay with Savannah for a few hours. They both did great! It will be great to see my side of the family again but for devastating reasons. My Nana was an amazing woman and will be greatly missed. Thursday, October 9, 2014. Day 228- It's been awhile. With school back in full swing as well as activities things are busy! The kids found a ton of balls at Grant's first T-ball game, so I was able to make a couple of wreathes- with help from Travis :). Day 229- With the new school year, we also now have a Brownie in the house! Day 230- We had our annual MOPS kick off picnic. Day 231- Jackson got his new soccer uniform, and is ready to play. Day 233- Jackson's first soccer game. Travis (my better half).

Sunday, September 7, 2014. Day 223- Back to reality. We had a dentist appointment in the morning and Sneak Peek in the evening. Day 224- Last Day of summer vacation, and I'm making the kids help me put up the MOPS sign at church! Mckinley getting ready to sleep on top of her good luck sprinkles she got for her teacher, to help her become a second grader. Day 225- First day of school for Jackson and Mckinley, and last t-ball practice before the first game! Day 227- Yay- The pictures match the days, again!

Saturday, September 6, 2014. Day 219 Today we headed to Dollywood. So for those of you who don't know what that is, it is a amusement park owned by Dolly Parton. Today was also Lanie's 5th birthday! The water ride that bystanders try to spray you with water guns. Happy Birthday Lanie Belle! Day 220- We headed back into town and went to Ripley's Aquarium. It was a perfect day to visit as it was raining outside. Day 221 Today we started to head home. I always love seeing the arch! Travis (my better half).

Saturday, August 8, 2015. During my family vacation in Palm Springs, I noticed that I kept apologizing for my kids splashing people or constantly saying "watch out! On our last day, I was lounging with my mom in the pool as my little one splashed around and she told him to watch out and apologized to the people. I looked at her and said, "Do you notice no one else is saying anything to their kids? Why should my kids bare the burden of monitoring their behavior because I think it might upset someone else?
