http://metspublicrecord.blogspot.com/2013/06/alderson-makes-clear-chages-are-not.html
Sunday, June 9, 2013. Alderson Makes Clear, Changes Are Not Staff Related. Mets GM Sandy Alderson is frustrated and he's sure Mets fans are frustrated, too. Up until Saturday's 20-inning marathon loss to the Miami Marlins, the front office of the Mets have given their players the benefit of the doubt that they'll be able to right the ship. A little over 24-hours has passed since that dreadful loss and Alderson's approach has drastically changed. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). New York Mets News.

Mets Public Record: Bobby Abreu, the Ike Davis Trade, and A Camel's Broken Back
http://metspublicrecord.blogspot.com/2014/04/bobby-abreu-ike-davis-trade-and-camels.html
Sunday, April 20, 2014. Bobby Abreu, the Ike Davis Trade, and A Camel's Broken Back. Was he really the stick that broke the camel’s back on the Ike Davis trade? A trade that according to Mets GM Sandy Alderson had been in the works for the last eight months. Not this latest trade, specifically, between the Pittsburgh Pirates. But the idea of trading the former Mets first rounder, who was not only a helluva guy in the Mets clubhouse but a player you rooted for through thick and thin. If you ask WFAN's Mik...

Mets Public Record: Forget The Bullpen, Mets Need Offense to Step It Up
http://metspublicrecord.blogspot.com/2014/04/forget-bullpen-mets-offense-needs-to.html
Sunday, April 6, 2014. Forget The Bullpen, Mets Need Offense to Step It Up. Other then the majestic blasts of Curtis Granderson, Lucas Duda, Ike Davis, etc., the Mets offense can easily find itself at a Stop Sign waving the other cars on. In the bottom of the 3rd inning of today's 2-1 loss to the Reds, the Mets had men on second and third, with one out. Daniel Murphy and David Wright due up, the meat of the order. Conclusion? With All Good Intentions. An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea. (Buddha). In 2007 I started Sports Media Journal (SMJ). As our About Us. Page states, the idea was to create “a site where you’ll find out more about the people and organizations that manage and report sports.”. I began Sports Media Journal. Was never contingent on making a profit. I have a full-time job outside of SMJ. My level of interest in sports media has waned. And...

Who Called Your NFL Team’s Games the Most in 2013? We did this research last year, and we thought we would do it again to end the 2013 NFL season. We examined the network play-by-play pairings for each regular season game in the league this year and noted which announcer called which teams’ games. As in years past patterns emerge, generally the better teams in each conference have their games called by the higher-ranked broadcasters on each network. Arizona Cardinals- Dick Stockton and Sam Rosen (3 each).
